As an Iranian company and a sanctioned entity, Safiran Airport Services is unable to operate globally on its own. The exposed materials from the internal servers of Safiran prove that the company is utilizing the same mechanism as Iranian exporters and money exchangers: A front company in a friendly country is handling all international transactions and interactions with foreign companies for Safiran. This company is Dubai-based Dark Blue Shipping LLC. Dark Blue Shipping is a cargo shipping company that was founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2016, with additional offices in Oman and Turkey. The company provides freight forwarding services around the world by air, sea and land, through a network spanning across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Their services include custom clearance, different logistics and warehousing for various types of cargo. Unsurprisingly, since the very beginning, Dark Blue Shipping's managing director is an Iranian national named Keramat Shahrokhi, who is also listed as the company's Persian speaking advisor.

Dark Blue Shipping is part of the Dark Blue Holding LTD, a Hong Kong-registered company that includes several subsidiaries, except for Dark Blue Shipping: Dark Blue Trading (Oman), Spark light Raw Materials (Dubai), Dark Blue Dis Ticaret Ltd (Turkey) and Dark Blue Energy (Oman). It appears that Dark Blue Shipping is a legitimate company, as it is a registered member of the Dubai and Oman Port Authorities and is active from four additional ports in the UAE. However, as the exclusive documents reveal, Dark Blue Shipping is listed as the beneficiary in foreign currency transactions made to Safiran from companies around the world. The company's involvement in Safiran's international operations raises questions about its role in facilitating business for a sanctioned entity.
As can be seen in the link above, an email correspondence between Safiran and Success Aviation Services shows that Safiran is asking the client to pay attention to the bank account details (Dark Blue Shipping's account number in Omani Sohar International Bank, which is also used by Iranian Petrochemical giants PCCI and PGPICC's front companies). Safiran also advises that the company's name and Iranian origin should not be mentioned, to ensure a future cooperation.
